Alright, I think I’m done gushing over the comics in the Author’s Note.

I think this is the only page in this mini-arc where I had to stitch together a Frankenstein from several different pages of the comic. The rest I’m pretty sure are just two normal pages.

Rarity: Even in a fight, Pinkie finds new ways to utterly baffle me.
Twilight Sparkle: I’ll it, that’s a creative use for the party cannon prototype. Too bad you’ll have to make another one, though.
Pinkie Pie: Eh, the key was copying Rarity’s manestyle. Anything would’ve worked, but the cake batter was what I had.
Applejack: I’m… not sure what just happened, but I’ll take it. Let’s get to freein’ ponies.
Note: Later…
DM: You’ve rescued just about everypony, but it seems like there might be a few missing townsfolk…
Rarity: This is a bit of a delicate question, but… There is somepony who is important to Rarity. Is this pony… among the rescued?
DM: No. On top of that, Apple Bloom seems to be uned for.
Applejack: <sigh> Rarity’s hook aside, I think we’re bein’ targeted specifically.
Spike: Maybe this orb has a clue?
Fluttershy: That can’t be good…
Rarity: How did we miss that?
Twilight Sparkle: Let me guess, the villain is-
Queen Chrysalis: -using the orb to scry on you all. How insightful. Mwa ha ha ha! MWA HA HA HA! Here we are at last! I am known as Chrysalis, Queen of the Changelings. Nice to finally meet you, Twilight! I’m sorry, did you think this was an invasion? Can’t blame you, but I’m afraid this has only begun…
