While I don’t like the idea that the Trixie events being “just a test for Twilight.” (Which is just silly, and as I said like a cop-out.)
I don’t mind the idea of Trixie becoming Luna’s student later perhaps. But her being her student “the whole time” doesn’t make sense.
I would accept this theory…though what’s holding me back is the lack of foreshadowing.
It’d be like if at the end of Mass Effect 3, a random holographic representation representing all reapers came out and resolved the plot in the most asinine way possible…Oh wait!?
Seriously though, this is just stupid. Trixie didn’t summon the bear in the first episode, Snips/Snails did. Giving Trixie an amulet of evil and making her terrorize Ponyville to test Twilight’s abilities is stupid. And the whole idea of Trixie, the travelling magician, being Luna’s student is just awful to begin with.
Y’know given her last name (or surname) is “Lulamoon” it would make sense. I almost want this to happen in the show.
(Except I don’t like the whole “Trixie causing trouble in Ponyville was just a test for Twilight” thing. That’s going to far, and seems like a cop-out.)
Yeah, spreading chaos and destruction using a artifact made out of Dark Magic, whose last prominent was a kingdom-slaving jackass.
Real smooth mentoring there, Miss Big Moon Butt.

Wrong image, idiot.
Now you’ve spoiled the whole thing.
Try harder, you’re a bit too obvious.

>This trixie x luna thingie has been done countless of times in fanfictions.
Not as much as Twiluna,imo

Also, I’m reminded of this image/comic.

Oh this is new? I thought you were posting an old pic. Didn’t notice the alicorn amulet the first time.
No I don’t think I would like that. Unless Trixie’s character changed considerably.
STAPH
In canon. I can see a few holes in continuity. Possibly a snarl and many lacks of logic.
