Mmm… It really depends on what kind of syntax his language has. If “2 + 2 / 2” and “4 / 2” are variables - it’s a valid statement.
Addition and subtraction form left to right
What’s so difficult about that? Besides you gotta have some kind of consistent structure that doesn’t change, otherwise how would you do things like factoring polynomials and you have to move the around?
Order of operations never existed when I was in school. And it’s never done anything helpful except trick people into getting answers wrong. I’m glad it’s become a meme, because it is a joke of an idea to introduce to add a fake sense of difficulty to maths… Though I still end up getting mad when I see it just for knowing how the new generation is being fucked over by it. Parenthesis are the only correct way of changing the order a calculation is done.
can’t even argue

As a programmer, he programmed the damn thing wrong
Yeah, that’s what…
You multiply and divide from left to right

Are you… a vampire? I’m pretty sure order of operation has been around since modern Algebra was codified in the 17th Century.
Parentheses are definitely superior, though.
I’m Minus, my special talent is maths.
Dont thank me thank Difis
yo thanks for this meme I am now blowing up
Not really. When I do play Minecraft (which isn’t very often) I just build random things.
no it’s Please Excuse My Dead Aunt Sally
