And anyone who has been paying attention clearly noticed this Ponyville is located in a Pacific Northwest inspired location. It’s beautifully implemented. Roughly in a real life area between Vancouver, WA and The Dalles, OR. Along the northern banks of what would be the Columbia River. Though in the series, all names are totally different. But it’s subtle visual cues, hints, looking at backgrounds, signs, roaps, ments, etc. Seaddle is obviously Seattle. Dockland is clearly their Portland. Fort Vanhoover is Vancouver, WA.

The artist tends to draw a lot of Northwest-US stuff into this comic’s universe, so maybe the presence of church doesn’t mean a lot. There are also cars, UPS planes, Alexa, etc.
