If doing nothing productive means doing nothing in life then having no name on the site means you have no name in real life, and you need a name in real life to do a lot of things so without one you have a worthless life.

If you sleep 8 hours a day, then there’s 16 hours available to do things. Checking up on a site isn’t mutually exclusive of being completely useless for the whole day. I’m a bit disappointed you couldn’t come up with this kind of reasoning yourself.
