Not really, he would still retain all of the characteristics that his human counterpart has. I.E, if human Flash is a dick, most likely pony Flash is too. Personally for me, it’s the fact that I’m just not a fan of EQG. The characters being a bunch of cute ponies is one of the things that drew me into the show. Without that, it just doesn’t have that same spark in my opinion. Also, when you get down to it, he barely had any screen-time in the main series. He’s not worthy of having a spot on the final look back of all our favorite ponies.

I guess it’s half-half between what Hasbro wanted and want the bronies wanted. They do the drama, but still want Flash in to keep pleasing young girls with heroic boy stereotype (which none of us, even little girls actually need).

He still had more overall screentime in FiM than Sunset. (Not counting EQG screentime.)
