Considering the flame wars that happened with Aunt Holiday and Aunt Lofty, and outside this franchise, the flame wars revolving around “She-Ra and the Princesses of Power” and “Voltron: Legendary Defender” and their LGBT characters, can you really blame Hasbro for downplaying the whole “Lyra married Bon Bon” thing?

I like to imagine that wedding rings would be earrings magically sealed shut so they can’t be slipped off so you can pretend to be single at a bar or something unless you literally rip it out of your ear.

I mist agree with pinkie here. I am glad they acknowledged their marriage here, it would be great if they got some development in the season 10 comics.

These two did appear in quite a few books and comics. I guess they’re just better handled outside the show. Actually,I didn’t like their Agents of SMILE book,maybe no one gets what they’re about.

well they aren’t main characters. I don’t think they are secondary characters either so at best I would say they are tirtiery characters. I mean heck screw loose was shown having growth in the background from a pony barking to one who is in a home, but still visited by a nurse showing that she had made progress. Characters who aren’t front and center can’t aways get center stage character development all the time and as the last episode wouldn’t they focus on the main cast and only put things for the minor characters in the background?

Not being main characters is not an excuse for a cut-out
