I know I’m a bit late to reply, but when looking at those posts you always need to check the currency. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a stupidly high price for just a skin, but not exactly what I would describe as a full game price (unless it is on sale).

Also, you forget Rarity kicked a manticore in the face, kung-fu kicked Applejack, punched Changelings, and almost picked a fight with teenage dragons. Chick is tougher then you think.
The whole setup seems ridiculous. Rarity as a masked wrestler? Cheerilee switching for her twin sister? How is that consistent with their personalities?

Yes, it’s from IDW; one of Jay Fosgitt’s comics, if I’m not mistaken. And yeah, the pricing can cause a headache.
