Apparently 9 years from seasons 1 to 9, then a time skip of about 10-15 years. Assuming she’s in her early 20s at the start, she’d be around 30 by the coronation, then her 40s by the finale.
Yep, sounds about right. Post-skip most of the ponies have a kid of their own, and seeing as the kids are around CMC old age and some other new ponies around teen Aj age, that’s pretty much accurate.

I guess it must be the character development, I thought of a similar age.
If you’re referring to the end period of the show, you might be right; if she was around 21-23 before the end period, and considering the CMC were mares in the end period and they were school-age before (meaning around 7-9), adding 10-12 would indeed make RD in her 30s.
But like the keywords, I don’t think she’s an adult in this pic.
