So, basically the entire series is this lech hopping from world to world so he can grope women without permission and without facing well-deserved bad consequences. Is there actually a point to all of this?

yeah you’re right. after reviewing the earlier pages he sure did grope them.
Still… if anyone chases someone through time and space over something like that (that includes him) they’re psycho crazy.
They put the time and/or effort into bending reality itself over a social faux pas.
It’s a little psycho-crazy to chase a guy through dimensions over unsolicited hugging. But I guess it’s no more crazy than inventing a manner to travel to different planes of reality just to hug nonexistent people.
