Anyway, as a shameless Velvet main who’s got over 400 hours in the game, I can say with certainty that just spamming projectiles won’t keep your opponent off you nor will it get anywhere close to ending the game against other skilled players. You’re still gonna need to block well and hit your opponent the old fashioned way if you want to win games.

Oh definitely go right ahead. Just saying that many fighting games will have that one character that can use easy spammable moves which will annoy players, but they can still choose to play said spammable character in the end. My Heroes One Justice 1 and 2 are two arena fighters that are famous for having fighters with easy spam moves. (Todoroki)
Bro, I may have only played less then a 100 hour of TFH, but I can say with absolute certainty that Ole is WAY more OP then Velvet. As a player who played both characters I noticed that she has tons of weakness, while Ole has next to none. Look at tournaments, they’re swarming with Oleanders. I can write a book on why Ole is much stronger then Velvet.
Even when it comes to projectile spamming, Ole’s spark is faster, better, and harder to dodge.

She has spammable projectiles in the game which is an understandable reason as to why people hate her. Spammers are never really the most recieving in the fighting community as it’s too easy to simply press a button or two and watch the character spam an easy attack with no effort. I tried her once and I can see why she’s hated, but I still would play her, but would watch how I fight player opponents.
