Well, it is or isn’t hard to see Amethyst Star in the movie because you were right. That pony you’re talking about reassembled Amethyst Star. So I would agree that Amethyst Star along with some pony that reassembled her were present in Canterlot during both the Friendship Festival and the Storm King’s tyranny and conquering over Equestria.

I loved how Amethyst Star appeared in all nine seasons, Best Gift Ever, and the movie with a G-clef cutie mark that the unnamed earth mare has in “Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep?”.
