Usually ‘hurt’ is used to refer to that. “Are you hurt?” usually doesn’t means they are damaged or compromised in some way. Not rather or not they are in pain.
I did imply causing pain without physical damage. I think even breaking the skin is going too far. You should use large impliments as the larger surface area makes damage far less likely. A cane is the most evil of all impliments since it’s so thin and also relatively rigid.

What’s confusing about that? A spanking is done on the buttocks because they are two large slaps of fat in front of the most solid and heaviest bone in our entire body. There are the wings and the tailbone right on front of your bowels and bladder so there is very little risk of internal injury. The buttocks are almost entirely fat so there is very little blood going through it which in turn means little risk for internal bleeding.
If you’re going to hit anywhere the buttocks is by the safest way and the place that will fade the fastest.

I don’t think Tempest would trust herself with this. She’s very physically powerful and prone to violence. A spanking is all about causing pain without hurting them. Also for Lullaby it would be 10 times worse since she would feel like she disappointed Fizzy and is humiliated by her.

I think spankings would be the best punishment for Lullaby. I mean she has a high pain tolerance and desperately wants to be a good girl. So something quick would be best. Taking away her distractions or leaving her alone for long would cause her far more pain and distress.
Based on the comic, she could probably handle the pain better then most kids her age, although I’m not sure about how something like this would effect her emotionally. I suppose she did earn some sort of punishment for sneaking out.
