It was the Storm King’s because he dethroned you, he dethroned the other three Alicorns, he and his army kidnapped and enslaved all of the inhabitants, they invade Equestria, and now they’re going to steal your magic alongside the other three Alicorn’s. In my opinion, her friends deserved it. They were so uselesses. But Twilight was the most realistic about all of this situation. The only pony who toke thisnwith really serious, and knew that not all in this world is friendship, hapinness and sugar cakes. I have the honest idea that Twiñight could be better without her good for nothing mares.

And she shouldn’t have tricked them (mostly Pinkie) so I could do the wrong thing. Well, saving Equestria from the Storm King and his troops is Twilight’s responsibility as one of the four princesses in Equestria that were overthrown by the Storm King at the beginning of the film. Even Twilight’s responsibility also belonged to the rest of the Mane Six as well. And of course, Twilight did made a bet in her plans of saving it and lost until her new friends arrived to help the Mane Six save Equestria from the Storm King and made his conquering, take-over, trashing, and tyranny over Equestria not to last long. Even though the Storm King has successfully fully conquered, destruct and ruled Equestria for three long days until his victory was undone at the end of the film that leads to his death in the hooves of her former second-in-command lieutenant Tempest Shadow.
