Yes it was supposed to be for Paramount theatrically with a TV show going to be on Discovery Family or Nickelodeon, but franchise being niche and pandemic bullshit led them to say fuck it and gives it to the red N. I hope they can still release it theatrically like they did with past films from Netflix such as The Irishman, Klaus and Army of the Dead. Don’t blame me, bronies want to see ponies on the big screen not the living room. Unlike me who chooses what he wants.
Also the show is probably better off going to Netflix Discovery Family is only is the us and Cable TV is dying.
