But I wanted to illustrate the last part, where he points out quite correctly that the fandom must be ive and welcoming, but ultimately that action must come from you. YOU, sir or madam, are what will determine success or failure. All you have to do is be kind, and not be a butt. Honestly, that shouldn’t be hard. Heck, as a member of the human race, you should be kind to everybody already, regardless of fandom. Be a force for encouragement and goodwill. “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
