And, incidentally, the day that is commemorated tomorrow … what a way to add 20 years of something so tragic (and doubtful).
Sorry if I’m rude about this, but seriously: I can’t get used to the idea that this is, now, the Reality of an entire People.
They are not much different from Imperial Rome … especially the part of saving themselves from using their own soldiers, creating armies elsewhere (near the site to be invaded), which do most of the dirty work (yes, the Taliban, the State Islamic, Mujahideen, etc), so that one’s own army just has to arrive and establish itself.
Yup, things haven’t changed much since Julius Caesar when he “visited” the Celts, right? (and yes, he “visited” was sarcasm)
What did you expect? American politicians don’t care about other countries. Wherever they send the US military, it’s for their own benefit. It’s all for the money and power.
Well, what a shame but … Shakespeare is among my favorite playwrights. If that seems “from another world” to you, you can call Giorgio Tsoukalos and tell him that there are Martians sharing fan arts over the internet.
