CR helped me learn so much about MLP through his Retrospective vids and made me realize that G1 wasn’t actually so bad.

I haven’t been following anything. I stop going to EQ months ago, unwatched most of the fan art and I can’t even watch the show. Regardless I’m sure whatever they came up with is crap.

Apparently, CR! thinks he’s the forefront in MLP since he made a few videos a few years ago, and everyone else (who differs from his opinion) can just go screw themselves.

Taken on its own the joke itself is fine, it’s CR’s attitude in general which has been causing problems for some.

Like I said in another post relating to this, my problem has more to do with CR being a dick regarding his difference of opinion, not his opinion in general. Yes I highly disagree with his opinions of season 2 finale and onward (I feel like most of his reasoning is pretty shallow and he’s obviously being a faustwubber), but having a difference in opinion is fine so long as you don’t be a dick about it (him arguing with someone just because they said they like a season 3 episode being a good example).
 
This is why I never got into Spoony, him saying things like “stab people who like Final Fantasy X with a box cutter” rubbed me the wrong way (and not just because I am a fan of FFX [I actually played FFX AFTER Spoony made that statement], I just thought it was a pretty douchey thing to say, the stuff with JesuOtaku later only made my opinion of him worsen).
 
This is also one reason why I tend to avoid Phelous’ TMNT videos, he’s clearly a fanboy of the 80s cartoon Turtles and venomously hated Turtles Forever all because it poked fun at the goofiness of the 80s TMNT cartoon.

Will even go into pointing out that DuckTales was pretty damn good but completely jumped the shark when introducing Bubba the cave duck into the cast in the later seasons, hell, even Gizmo Duck had his moments.

I am taking season 3 like I did with the later seasons of Real ghostbusters, Gargoyles and family Guy: stick with the first seasons and appreciate it for what it is, forget the later stuff if it bother you too much.
 
Will it that maybe Twicorn is not as bad as Slimer being the forefront character in the later seasons of Real Ghostbusters.

Season 3 had some good episodes– but it also had a lot more mediocre and bad episodes than previous seasons. I am still on the fence as to whether or not that is enough for me to call it a bad season, though, or just a “meh” season. I would definitely say it was a poor season compared to the first two, thoguh.

When it was the devil’s daughter, it was funny. When it was CR, it wasn’t. She at least acted like she was having fun with the whole idea.
