True, but my point stands. It’s a great moment. I say this as someone who fully its to not being a comic buff, DC has a pretty good track record for animation. But that’s probably best for a forum.

That’s probably because Flash’s enemies aren’t irredeemable psychopaths who would blow up a building just for fun or a tyrannical warlord whose sole goal is conquering planets. Batman and Orion have too much experience dealing with inhuman and sometimes literally nonhuman people. Ironically Trickster is voiced by the same guy who voices Joker. Telling Joker to turn himself in would definitely result in a fit of insane laughter instead of compliance.

This moment sorta reminds me of that scene in Justice League Unlimited when Flash talks to Trickster. Not as poignant but it’s genuine and human, it’s difficult to not to like a moment like this.
So Hitchy Hitch is the wise big bro character that gives other characters wisdom and a sheriff that is kind to even criminals. I knew I chose my favorite pony correctly!
THIS and the scene with Baby Zipp and her mom are the BEST scenes in Tell Your Tale so far, in my opinion.
Really love that Hitch was able to help solve the conflict in this episode, and how we got to see him being so kind to the criminal he locked up! It’s so character establishing, and I love how this generation that started preaching against racism didn’t turn the male cop into a villain to do so. Hitch is a cop that takes his job seriously, BECAUSE of his kindness and because he wants the best for others.

You must be punished. I will spill your cup of chocolate milk for your freethinking!
Nah it’s all fine with me. We all have different ways of looking at things.
I can see what you mean, the animation looks more like G4 ponies unlike Pony Life where they are chibified. I don’t really dislike the TYT style. I just prefer the Pony Life style.
And I will say did enjoy these shorts stories and characters. I found it really fun.
@Cosmas-the-Explorer
I might be on the minority with this, but I think this actually looks better than Pony Life. I really hated the Pony Life animation, and to me this feels more like what we got with FiM. So I am perfectly happy with this myself (also the episodes are really fun to watch, even if they are a bit short).
Naturally I know you will blacklist me for my opinions, but that’s just how I feel about this show.
@sxcbeast
Not to rag on the amimation but I actually think Pony Life was better animated.
Perhaps because was more well proportioned. Even Pony Lifes bean mouths seemed more fitting. (Perhaps because the bean mouths in TYY are on more normal looking characters)
Nice detail, I didn’t notice that before.

That moment really cemented this Flash as my favorite character in this series.
I can see the resemblance, yeah! (And damn, I’m surprised they mentioned meds in Justice League. Gotta give props to the realness there)

I agree. The mouths and their body movements look really cheap here, to me.
