I wondered, why in Equestria would this be a problem? Shouldnāt she just say something like, āUm, Twilight, can you help me? I became a worm after ____ā like accidentally mixing up potions from Zecora or something. Transfiguration isnāt that difficult for Twilight.
But no, sheās outright asking Twilight if sheās ok with her friend permanently being a worm.
So Iām guessing that this was Discordās wish. Maybe he was testing Fluttershy to see if she would really allow him to transform her into a worm to please him knowing heād like her better that way.
