This reflects one of the things that bothered me about SimCity 2000. The monster was always depicted as a knock-off of a WotW tripod.

One thing I liked about the earlier Sim City games was being able to build a metropolis, omitting any fire departments, then starting a small fire and hoping it’d rage out of control. Sometimes, I’d have to start two or three or more before it finally worked. Usually, I’d just get a monster to wander through the city; that worked best.
