Oof. Careful not to be too hard on your style just because it’s ‘simple’. Visuals don’t have to be aggressively detailed to still be enjoyable and worth being proud of! There’s been more than one artist to trod down the path of dedication to improvement only to come out the other end with a very different style (which isn’t innately a bad thing) and proceed to curse any who had a preference for - or even just enjoyed, in some cases - the artist’s old works.

But yes, I do think the inconsistency looks nice. Gives the style a feeling of being light, airy, or playful. Perhaps redrawing might be the case in most s of the average comic (I it I’m not as much of an experienced connoisseur as I’d like to be, to be able to say for sure), but I know for certain I’ve seen instances where the likes of the bottom two s here would’ve used the same 90%-or-so with just an altered expression on the head. (Not to knock on those who’ve done so, as efficiency and reuse of resources is a hard bargain to , it’s just also nice to see when that isn’t the case - again, emphasized by the ‘inconsistencies’.)

Did you really think you could leave a gem like this little comic laying around without expecting someone to wander across it in the future, though? I it, that wouldn’t be guaranteed to get it a comment, but some of us want to pipe up when we see something we enjoy, hoping it’ll help to encourage the artist. Speaking of, I believe there’s quite a few of us who’d be quite glad to see more things like this from you in future. A number of your past works are also quite enjoyable!

About the redrawing, i thought that’s something most comics do, except the lazy edit-comics of the same image. And the ‘being practiced without being overly committed’, i think that’s just me being inexperienced and inconsistant - but at least that seems to distract from my very basic style ^^’

And those who like your artstyle! It’s cute, competent, and easily recognizable. Having the touches of fluff, like on Rarity’s face, without going overboard with it is also a nice detail. Nice expression work, too, both in execution and variety thus far. Part of me also just really likes how everything seems to be redrawn each time (except for the background in, like, two s (on this page, at least)). Specifically in the way that you can both tell it was redrawn when you stop to look while it’s all also still recognizable as the same core artstyle, giving it the feel of practiced without being overly-committed, the little differences between each redraw adding extra character to the visuals.

…But I dunno, maybe I’m just over-analyzing what’s actually the norm. ^-;

Though, it looks like you forgot to add magic to Rarity’s horn and measuring tape on the first page (after the cover). :P
