Izzy, there’s some stuff you are saying about King Sombra that are either false or misleading:
  1. King Sombra is from the Crystal Empire, not Bridlewood.
  2. He knows nothing about Misty, as he never interacted with her.
  3. He tells nopony about his secrets. He always hide them for a true reason.
  4. Not a single pony has told Sombra about him looking like Opaline (who you call the “evil unicorn”) who previously stole crystals from an empire.
