Here in the Philippines, there’s this centuries-old tradition called Simbang Gabi, or in English “dawn Mass”, where people attend Mass every day for 9 days, each starting on the evening of Dec. 15 or on the dawn of Dec. 16, presumably at 4am, leading up to the 24th, Christmas Eve!

Some people say that if you attend ALL 9 DAYS, you’ll have the opportunity to make a wish on Christmas Day!
