I haven’t seen anything but trailers and spoilers yet, but one thing is for sure: This is an AMAZINGLY FUN movie.
That’s the only reason why I resume knowing how to play it and to see if I have better luck with “Mario Kart” (in an emulator, which my console succumbed to years ago). If anything play your Rpg for the Snes well.
In short, a sign that, despite so much “Forced Inclusiveness”, there are still people who want to make movies that are only one thing: Truly Funny. And yes, they deserve to be nominated.

They would also hate Captain Laserhawk Blood Dragon Remix and try to use The Super Mario Bros. Movie as an example to make it more cliche and tropey while not wanting to it that they are triggered by 2 guys kissing.
I how there were weeks and weeks of youtube videos and twitter hot takes accusing the Mario movie of being “Woke” because it made Peach into a badass leader who can hold her own in a fight, and this meant feminism had ruined the franchise.
Then the movie made a billion dollars and suddenly the same people who declared it “woke” decided it was the complete opposite. The moral here is that “woke” is an utterly meaningless term.
Anyway, Peach certainly proved herself to be a more effective defender of her kingdom than Celestia is of hers.
