Wow dude thanks! That has to be one of the biggest compliments I ever gotten with the ChopperShy pairing. I just really like drawing these two together and with Chopper’s multiple forms, it is a fun way to try different scenarios.
They are similar in same ways but others really different. While Fluttershy rarely get to have a say in certain matters (soft-spoken) until attention is on her; Chopper is a bit more outspoken and if necessary will “man up” (heavy point) to get his point across.
While both are shy, FS is basically socially awkward that dislike being the center of attention; Chopper is also socially awkward but due to being an outcast for his appearance by both humans and his own herd, so if he has attention brought on him, he does not have the social ability to deal with it outside of his crew.
This makes it interesting to see how these would mesh together, having something that compliments each other but still have some differences that contrast.

I actually considered that when I saw it, Then I saw Irie’s ship stats for Chopper and Shy. Wow, better than the mane 6 ships combined.
