My money’s on the Equestrian Brand cars being owned by a foreign holding company, and the cars being 90% built in a next door 3rd World country before being shipped across the border and completed (have the final cosmetic touches done) in Equestria.

Believe me, I have also had issue with the way cups are ‘held’ in G4 and G5. At least with the phones in G5 it appears they are being held with magnets. I still don’t know how cups are held, though. Given all logic they should slip out of their hooves. Then again, that is the same universe where the Princesses control the sun and moon and Pegasi control the weather. So I probably should not take the physics of Equestria too seriously.

Nitpick: the “Objects in mirror” warning is on the wrong mirror; it should be on the enger-side mirror. It was always my understanding that the driver-side mirror (at least on conventional enger cars like this one) is flat, not convex, and therefore does not need such a warning.

Just like cups and mugs shouldn’t make sense for ponies, yet they all still use them in the canon tv series and in AT&F. One thing I did notice in the AT&F universe is that buttons and levers are made for horse hooves, so there is that at least.
Also I wouldn’t be given an anon post any flack. They are speaking the truth there.

That still doesn’t explain the logic, or lack thereof, of motor vehicles being in a world of talking ponies. Especially when it comes to their anatomy.
I get that it has been a thing in this comic for a while (I have been following it for many long years myself), but it will always be something that puzzles me. It puzzled me when I first started reading it way back in 2016, and it puzzles me now.
Um…why would a universe where ponies still use horse drawn carriages…have cars? And is there any changes in the layout of that van that would make it more suitable for ponies as opposed to humans? Because, after all, ponies have very different anatomy to humans and I am certain that, if a real world car (minivan or otherwise) got teleported to Equestria, the ponies wouldn’t be able to drive it as-is. It would have to be modified for pony use.
Anyone can go anonymous like I am right now, some do it because having an opinion or a question here can be problematic.
