the term: predator, is not just some who feeds on flesh of a different animal (even us humans), it even means that some would take advantage of someone else, just to make themselves look better then anyone else even their victim, like opaline praying on misty’s well being here.

By the logic, you’re referencing National Geographic Channel’s multicellular sentient creatures philosophy that any given animal still remain juvenile wherein they’re venerable to hungry predators stemming against their prey from sociological forces of nature. Makes sense that Opaline would pounce upon a lost filly, taking her predator attitude into with keeping Misty away from other pony outsiders.

It’s so sad that when an animal (yes any sentient being who is multicellular is also an animal) is just a juvenile, will show that they’re venerable to predators both mentally and physically.
