It’s kinda funny how game about empathy and other people’s points of view, where to get the best ending literal embodiment of >4chan< needs to act with >respect< and >understending< towards feelings and actions of pro-LGBTQ girl who tried to do some pretty messed up stuff with him has phobias as the main poin of critique.
It gives an interesting topic to think about: should we take believes of the creator when talking about their creation? If the goal of work of fiction is to push certain beliefs, but it ended up provoking literally the opposite thoughts and had the opposite moral lesson in retrospective, can we really blame creation for its creator’s position?
I don’t think so, because it would take away the “agency” of work of fiction, if it makes sence. After all, if some authors turns out to be a bad person, that wouldn’t make all fans of their work bad persons.
This all is a bit of a rambling, but I’ve been reading trough my old comments here, and it’s weird to think that not so long ago I’ve had generally a much more in-the-face and no-nuisance position about pretty much everything
@Polybius91
My point is I like Snoot Game.
@CbaseJ
Yeah, I have no love for transphobia. Your point?
@Polybius91
Someone’s salty
Ah yes, Snoot Game. The time 4chan got so mad over the existence of a video game with a nonbinary protagonist that they made their own version where that character either detransitions, becomes a drug-addicted wreck, or shoots up their school. About what I’d expect from the site that DDOSed the Trevor Project.
