Sounds like the type of game I would never play, tbh. Though I do like a good soundtrack, I will give it that. I just prefer more lighthearted games when it comes to 2D platformers, with Shantae being a good example. With that said, though, I can tell that a lot of ion went into it, and I will always indie game development, even for games that I will never play myself.

The colors are also the same (including the darker sleeves), so I doubt it’s a mere coincidence (also, note that the picture I posted is a partially mirrored sprite, so the symbol is actually backwards).
As for Mae, she’s the protagonist of the 2017 indie adventure game Night in the Woods, in which she returns to live with her parents after dropping out of college and spends her days exploring her Rust Belt hometown of Possum Springs and reconnecting with her old friends.
It’s a fairly good game, with simple yet gorgeous graphics (and an equally nice soundtrack) paired with a narrative that touches some pretty serious themes, such as loss, nostalgia, adulthood, economic depression, mental illness, faith and existential nihilism.

No idea who that character is, but yes. I can see that it is the same shirt design.
I’m talking about this character:
It’s the same shirt design, see?
I have no idea what you’re talking about
