I’m sure, that whatever situation they were in, was fixable if they just asked for help of community
My guess is that they just got tired and gave up at some point
Mane6 deserve full blame for selling their game to Modus. Greed caught up with them. Don’t treat them like children when they know the value of having control over a game, after they recieved that cease and desist. They knew what the most important thing was and gave it up for a bit of cash. I just hope they still have enough ownership of the IP to make use of their riches and keep TFH alive. That’s a goldmine of a property. The closest thing to getting more MLP G4 content.
The closest official thing close to G4 is G5 brother. And if you don’t like that, bad luck.
An indie dev team is not gonna feed your G4 obsession. Grow up

I’m sure, that Mane6 are perfectly aware why their publisher pulled a trigger, and if they weren’t silent about it, if they just explained the reason why Modus forced them to cease development, maybe we as a comminity could’ve helped them resolve whatever problems prevented them from furtherly developing the game but alas, they chose silent death.
I can’t help but wonder why information like this is exclusive to a Discord server and not where others CAN see it, like on social media. If more people knew, then the backlash wouldn’t have been as severe.
Sadly i don’t have an answer for that, my best guess is that they aren’t allowed to do it in social media and stuff.
I can confirm that they are as devastated and sad about the whole situation as much as every fan.

Saying “it wasn’t our fault” without saying why, is not an explanation. If publisher decided to make this decision for them, then clearly there was an ongoing problem that devs couldn’t or didn’t want to deal with
They’re literally saying that it wasn’t a decision made by them. They are employes of Modus, if they want to stop development, they have to.
Stop blaming people that don’t deserve the blame

The survived the most hellish time for the gaming industry - more successful than many large companies, I want to note -but development in such conditions always leaves a scar.
And now, when sales have fallen and human resources have been depleted, they decided to spend their remaining strength on releasing two more characters and a second chapter.
Once the first Martian president is inaugurated.

They shouldn’t have sold out then.

So Modus made the decision?
