Not what I was thinking about when I hooked them up, but a valid point. I don’t know if they are that committed, since they aren’t as close with Trixie as with each other. Not all 3-way poly relationships are totally equal/symmetrical.
But things can change over time! They could get closer and ultimately have a 3-way marriage. Or heck, even if they aren’t together in the same way in 15 years or whatever, they’ll always still be close, and Trixie might be a surrogate for Smoothie and Sonata. Lots of ways that could play out! I wonder what will happen…

I mean, dogs and cats and other animals with fur do often get grey and wrinkly as they get really old. Look at a super old dog. Not like, grey everywhere, but especially around the muzzle they do often grey a bit. And who knows what would happen to pony manes and tails, since they seem to be different from the rest of their fur and more like human head hair.
Though to be fair, wrinkly skin is harder to see underneath fur.
I feel like the rolls should be reversed here. I dont think theres a single person in the world who would complain that their partner didn’t age. Seems like Smoothie should be the one worried that Sonata will stop liking him when hes old.

Yeah, mixing immortality (or extreme longevity) with normal mortal aging always makes a bit of a sad.
My job is to try to deal with it in a way that is sensitive and narratively makes sense…but also isn’t too much of a boner killer later. I’ve set myself a tough balancing act by going here in porn. >.<
