It was originaly suppose to be a direct to DVD release, but it was still a movie. Rescue from modnight calstle and escape from cathrina were both Tv spaciels only 20 minutes long. The length of a FiM episode. they wern’t considered part of the first series becouse it hadn’t started yet.
