I normally stay away from commenting on the politics pictures, but will occasionally read them at least to see what’s new. As long as people aren’t ripping each other to shreds or aggressively attacking the artists’ views in the picture in the comments (which is usually the main reasons most comment sections get locked down), then they’re free to speak their views and opinions on the subject at hand. Your comment can actually get deleted in return for demanding the mods to lock an entire, and so far tame, comments section down just because you don’t like what your reading. It’s selfish. Engage with them and explain where they may have went wrong or just ignore them and leave the picture instead of taking the high and mighty route demanding the whole thread get locked.
@djpup3
Imagine being so ideologically driven that it causes you mental pain to see people express opposing views that you want someone with authoritative power to shut down any opposition to your orthodox, really showing the obstinate child tyranny with in you.
Also the people you and defend don’t care about you and would call you a Godless kaffir whos gonna burn in hell for not being Islamic and for your progressive views.
@chubbyninja89
This is true; and it’s pretty illustrative when Hamas s videos of themselves doing horribly violent acts. That they attacked neutral targets such as the music festival or non-israelis like that southeast asian laborer they decided to behead with a garden hoe - on video and celebrated such attacks shows the real level of concern they have for human life.
If Hamas was that worried about the loss of civillian life, they could surrender - but they won’t because of the mistreatment that fuels their violent resentment.
Most Israelis are good and decent people, from the Arabs to the Mizrahim to the Europeans, but their government has a disproportionately influential right-wing minority that will keep pushing around the Palestinians and maintain an economic chokehold on occupied territories. Thus, the Palestinians will demand their own state and fight for it rather than submit to (what they can only forsee as) oppression.
P.S. Leaving religion out of my arguments on purpose as I think it is just a means to an end in this conflict.
I’m pretty sure that Pinkie Pie, and any and all of her friends would actually try to find a peaceful solution to a conflict, but they’d also not gloss over the fact of who started the conflict either.
Let’s be real guys.
Despite what so called college “professors” and most of the media will say, those Hamas guys were the ones who started the war with Israel by launching an attack on them. Then those guys try to play the victims when Israel fights back.
I don’t like to hear about anyone being hurt or dying, but what a lot of people won’t mention is how those Hamas guys are using some incredibly evil tactics in the war, such as not letting civilians actually leave combat zones and other such disgusting things.
I just wish more people would do a little more research before jumping onto a bandwagon, because they might not like where said bandwagon ends up.

There are videos on the internet showing how LGBT parades are celebrated in Israel, Israel’s laws are more westernized than those of Palestine, where to this day Palestinian laws are based on Sharia law.
@Background Pony #F9EA
In fact LGBT people are actively persecuted in Israel, but it’s still cool the way the concern trolls only started pretending to care once Israel started committing genocide.
You know most of these pro Palestinian ers more than likely have progressive and liberal values, the ones that modern left wing view like women and gay rights etc,etc, a stark contrast to Palestinian beliefs and values. And as far as i know or care those Palestinians beliefs are similar to that of Islamic beliefs that is incompatible with Western values.
So i wonder if these Palestinians sympathizer even know who or what there ing? Or are they just doing it because it’s the “poor oppressed minority” vs the “evil white western colonizer”.
This just seems like another “ing the current thing”.
@TexasUberAlles
I don’t even know how you could call them “colonial”, the Jewish people have lived in that region for far longer than anyone else and have only been consistently yeeted out or conquered throughout history (e.g. by the Roman Empire, Ottoman Empire, etc). Of course this is irrelevant because there is no “I found it first” rule when it comes to conquest of countries, in the end neither is entitled to the land and just have to deal with the situation of how it’s partitioned up right now. If anything you can blame the UN for putting them back into the area and carving the land up like that to begin with, but it’s not like we can just go back in time and change history so it is what it is.
Also unrelated but they sure have a weird way of going about the whole living free thing what with the whole preemptive military strike.
@Background Pony #8252
“Free” means “free”. Not “free from the presence of Jews”, just… “free”. It’s not a call for ethnic cleansing– as is being done to Gaza right now– it’s a call to hope, that someday the Palestinian people will be able to live freely in their own homeland without being oppressed by a settler colonial apartheid state.
I love the way Pinkie’s hair has been watermelonized, that’s a nice touch.
@Background Human
Things probably seemed pretty hopeless for the Jews of Europe when they were in the middle of their own holocaust, too, but here we are 80 years later, and now they’re doing well enough to commit one themselves!

What’s the matter friend?
Oh no no! Don’t you know that that’s all just made up right wing conspiracy theories.

And I can’t help but find all of that stuff to be hilariously ironic.

To unpack that level of ignorance I’d have to either get a teacher’s license or the Teamsters’ Union.

Well yes that is what’s being said
