It’s a trait of Twilight’s character. Do they have a thing for ear kinks too then? A lot of plots and hiccups too. Sorry, just don’t buy it. These are usually just unfounded claims.
The fact that they used one of Twi’s traits she hates and turned it into a positive is just writing gold in my opinion.
