This sculpture is the most complex ytong sculpture I have done up to this point (October 2024) and in the process of making her both of her frontlegs and the tail she is standing on broke, but they could all be fixed.
The animation shows pictures from a timespan of roughly a month with the way from the raw block to the completed sculpture. Since the tip of Pinkie Pie’s mane is too fragile to be carved out of ytong I formed it with the filler that I also used to smoothen the surface of the sculpture before painting her.
Now Marble Pie is the last of the Pie sisters I haven’t carved out of ytong yet.

Thank you very much, R-tex1241 :)
The tip of her mane would have been to fragile to be carved out of ytong so I installed a little wire there (which I also used to help the parts where legs and tail had been broken off during the carving) and then modeled the mane tip around the wire with the same filler that I also used to smoothen the surface of the sculpture.
