There was also the Sky Commanders one that came with its own “string.” It was easy to lose or get tangled to the point of being useless.

I was never in a situation when someone told me I was too young to watch whatever. I believe the mindset was, if it’s on TV during a time when children are awake, it’s okay to watch it. I saw the last half of the movie “Stepfather III” when I was a preteen. I was never bothered by anything I saw on TV, so everything turned out okay.
Ah the 90’s…
