From what I’ve seen, it’s up to the original artist’s interpretation/intention to have a ship tag or not. On the original sketch someone came in later and removed the related ship tags except the ship itself, but they were there by the original er.
If the artist was also the er the tags might need to be added back, but I don’t know if the Background Pony is or not.
Well done with coloring, and wanted to add a comment on black and white version:
I know the tags are showing shipping, and it’s pretty cute that way (love petalstorm), but I think this could also be seen as family love, too. I like how Zipp’s ‘Love you too’ is slightly greyed out as if she’s embarrassed saying it.
