For anyone curious, this is from a pathfinder campaign I’m in atm, set in the Freeport Venture universe with bits of Equestria at War’s lore.
While investigating reports of missing people in the sewers around freeports docks, Rosa encountered a large group of Old Mind (Hive Chrysalis) Changelings.
They were a party encounter of 10 melee fighters and 2 casters, and she weathered the fight.
Excerpt from the scene:
“Though I travel through darkness in the shadow of Maar, I shall fear no evil.” Slips from Rosa’s beak between breaths. Putting on the speed she will slide to a halt in the lit age before the pipe, bringing her spear up as she comes to a halt in a biped stance, left shoulder forward towards the encroaching horde to present her armored pauldron, spear held to impale someone dumb enough not to stop before they hit it, and a warcry on the wind as she unleashes a Ferocious Roar back down the tunnel.
With her back against the wall and the open drainage slits of the street above shining light on her, broken only by the shadow of creatures ing by just a few feet away… and well within hearing range. The Life Cleric glows golden with radiant rage. Pious, controlled, and directed fully at those before her. “MY LIFE FOR EYR!”
She got the attention of everyone on the street above her, and after slaying the Old Mind Ling’s, led a detachment of Guards to clear their nest and save what few captives remained alive.
