99% of the ones the stores are still metal. The chassis’ are plastic though. Usually unique and fantasy castings tend to sneak in more plastic where they can.

Hot Wheels used to be diecast; (I’ve got an ambulance made entirely out of enameled metal somewhere), but I’m pretty sure modern ones are entirely made of plastic.

Gotta love Hypocritical Humor.
That said, diecasts are always nice to look at, but I don’t bother with owning them.
