So this is my Oc Asterus and he’s Princess Celestia’s child. He was born before Luna was sent to the moon and was out of Canterlot before it happened. He was a ‘Mistake’ that Princess Celestia made while hosting a party for the higher ups of pony society. Aster’s father was there and lets just say Asterus was made that night, and past Princess Celestia wasn’t the motherly figure type at the time. Asterus loved his mother, how could he not? But further into his life he saw how life had turned out for him because his mother was the ruler of Equestria.
I’d love to show off more lore of this oc, as he is one of my favs, but lemme know if you’d like to see more of him! <3

Ehhhhh, with how manipulative Celestia is with Twilight during the present and not giving her sister enough attention or giving her the love she deserves a thousand years ago turning her into Nightmare Moon, this feels like something she would do.
Celestia would never give her child away… she would never say such words. She loves all ponies, and You are wronging her by claiming she wouldn’t love her own child even more. Even if he was on accident… Which i doubt would happen either, she is too pure for such things.
Therefore Your headcanon is cringe.

In my lore, Celestia had Asterus on accident and never wanted to be a mother, after all dispite being an adult, her actions were still very childish and selfish to others. That’s why she gave her son up so quickly.

There’s a difference between being a motherly figure and being an actual mother. You won’t believe the amount of stories I come across where there’s an AU where Twilight is Celestials daughter and Celestia just puts her up for adoption just for Twilight to be her student a couple years later and taking care of her like an actual mother regardless.
Honestly if you were to tell me Celestia put up any child she had for adoption, even during the present, I wouldn’t be surprised.
