What the fuck is it with this unimaginative obsession with this idea that Twilight is automatically bound to be immortal following the Last Problem, and live as long as Celestia and Luna did?
Could there not be a slight possibility that that is not actually the case, or that Celestia and Luna didn’t always look the way they did as rulers of Equestria the way the twilight does in the future during the final episode?
You could always make more friends. You are the Princess of Friendship. Or, you could ensure your current friends procreate and have a lot of kids, and they have kids, and they have kids et cetera. That way, you can keep the legacy of your friends alive while being friends with their descendants.

It doesn’t matter. Either way, the choice here is between endings where EVERYONE dies, and it’s presented as the “good ending,” or an ending where at least one immortal survives—which is objectively the better outcome—but it’s labeled as the “bad ending.”

Well immortal implies never aging, but I was thinking more of being both immortal and invincible.
It will change. You won’t die on your own. The concept of “everyone” includes herself.
Everyone dies eventually. When your immortal that won’t change, the only difference being you witness everyone around you dying.
