I’m creating a card for this mare in SillyTavern, and along with her name being Poppet, her mother is a Vampony Matriarch named ‘Ossia Mourntide’, but her father is a normal Earth Pony stallion named ‘Pineapple Rind’. This is my new headcanon for this mare.

I absolutely mean no offense OP, the design is very cute and the scenario has a lot of appeal.
But if I had one dollar for every absolutely adorable nerd character that is rejected in universe but IRL would get eaten alive with love.

Immediately thought “poppet” could be something to play with for a name. In the context of folk magic and witchcraft it’s basically akin to a voodoo doll. The cutie mark fits it and the spilled salt keeping her out implies she’s got enough bad magic in her to warrant a dark magic inspired name.
