I don’t draw her as often as Octavia, but it seems that you guys really, really like how I draw Luna as well (with my educated guess to why being that you like the glowing hair, the fact that I always give her a fat ass, and I use said glowing hair to light up her backside and face).
Today I have something for you that I drew in 2023, and my next Derpi will be another Luna I did in 2024.

Detailed syntax guide

@Clear Vision
Realistically, big butts are lumpy and have cellulite and big boobs sag heavily and want to lie flat. Most people think that’s not aesthetically pleasing, so they remove those imperfections. In the process though, some go too far and give them solid beach balls like you said and that looks kind of silly.
Personally, I think the thing is to find a happy balance between strict realism and what looks attractive. If you want to lean towards strict realism, there’s nothing wrong with that. Few artists do and it makes your work unique.

You know what, that’s fair. Too each their own. A shame though, since I feel like you could pull it off extremely well.
Still look forward to your future works as always!

Unfortunately no. Even if someone was willing to pay me significantly more than my usual commission rate for it, I probably wouldn’t accept. I don’t like pregnancy, I wouldn’t enjoy drawing it.
big proportions are my thing and I think it’s interesting that you’re trying to draw them realistically.
I find the trick to making big butts work is by trying to smooth out the curves you want through the thighs and hips. As for big boobs, it’s about getting a good amount of sag (while still having volume) and paying attention to the boob physics. They should look soft, not like solid beach balls. I didn’t like the beach ball/implant look a fair amount of artists go for, but I of course can draw stuff how I like it :)

“…you like the glowing hair, the fact that I always give her a fat ass, and I use said glowing hair to light up her backside and face.”
All true.
I for one would really love to see this artist’s style on more… modestly-proportioned mares.
I have been tending more towards going big on the proportions in my art recently (with the reason being that I want to make the difference and see more examples of it done “right”), however I still mix it up from time to time! I know you can’t please everyone at once, and that it’s not everyone’s thing.

Your art style is quite lovely. I’m curious, though: have you ever considered drawing a maternal piece, like for example, Princess Cadance before Flurry Heart was born?

As far as Luna goes, I’ve always drawn her with a large backside ever since my 2021 art piece of her when I changed her mane a little and started to make it actually glow - but feel free to check out some of my older stuff as well where I’ve been more modest with the curves (plus there’s a couple new things I still need to too)
You’re welcome, and thank you!

I might be in the minority, judging by the description of this , but I for one would really love to see this artist’s style on more… modestly-proportioned mares.
