You can build friendships from the ground up. it with the steadiest of foundations. Meticulously find each hole that could mean the end of the friendship. A large stone tower you could one day proudly say you both built it. Until you spot it when it’s too late. Either a slip up in the foundation, the materials that made up the tower, an edge too far from its center mass, and it’s all crumbling in front of you.
Be thankful if your friend is willing to try again as it will take the both of you to rebuild the tower from scratch. But if you look and your friend’s no longer there, it’s all up to you to pick up the pieces and find out what went wrong.
