The game’s level of visual detail is impressive—sometimes almost overwhelming—and that’s precisely what made this project challenging. Every shot required careful adjustment. The absence of Genesis for landscape generation was a real limitation, especially for background scenery, and I had to work around it. That said, this is only temporary: I plan to create a full tour of the Galaxy and the Arrastra once they are released.
I also spent time working on the visual identity.
The United Equestria logo, merged with the Star Citizen emblem, was entirely recreated by me. I’m very happy with how it turned out, but I haven’t yet decided whether I’ll release the full HD version. Before doing so, I’d like to know whether there is genuine interest in my vector-based work.
As for the character, I adapted the Geist Edition ASD armour to fit a pony morphology. It was a technical challenge, but an enjoyable one. On the other hand, the sky proved more difficult to control, and it shows—I’m aware of its visual limitations and I chose to leave them as they are.
Finally, for the Perseus, I selected the Resilience paint. This choice is a direct reference to Tempest Shadow. If she were to embody an element of balance, this would likely be it. A stone, in a symbolic sense: something solid, shaped by hardship, that remains standing even when everything else falters.
What if you zoom in all the way?
I it I haven’t left mine either.
I’ll take the Perseus!
