Xylazine is a common veterinary drug used for sedation, anesthesia, muscle relaxation, and analgesia in animals such as horses, cattle, and other mammals. In veterinary anesthesia, it is often used in combination with ketamine.
But it’s been a very popular adulterant in recent years, going by “tranq” for its obvious effects, and as a cutter for heroin and fentanyl.
BTW, ketamine is amazing, for those who’ve not had the pleasure – side note: my doses were pharmaceutical grade, professionally istered, and completely legal.
