I originally thought about making it a G4 continuation with the mane six as alicorns, but that doesn’t even count as one. I’m also using pony town for the characters because silly me, I can’t draw horses! Unless hasbro makes G6 it’s own universe, I’ll continue this concept as my own generation. But if it is cannon to G5 and G4, I’ll have to scrap this concept entirely or use it for my own AU.
Okay, enough rambling, let’s dive in!
TARGET DEMOGRAPHIC
We all know my little pony’s target audience consists of female children, and we know about the bronies which is us. but what if I told you that because of later in this description, this generation will also officially be stated to appeal to boys???
Yes, this may sound unacceptable, but there have been adult fans of this brand since the 2000’s. Of course, it mostly consisted of females, there were a few male fans, especially Chris Chandler himself. (i know only a few of you know who he even is.) there were even male kids seen in the G3 live show for some weird reason. That’s why I added horseshoes in the logo instead of hearts and made it dark blue.
CHARACTERS
As you can see in the picture, we’re going back to 6 main characters. not 4 like in that cancelled camp cutie mark video, not 3 like in some other concepts, 6 main characters. There will be two original characters with the other four being redesigned to look similar or nothing like them like the previous generations had done. Outside the mane six, there will be some original characters, some that are similar to some G4 ones, some ones from G3 G2, and G1 that never made it to G4 or G5 who will be redesigned to look similar or nothing like them like i said before. For the sexualities, you may have thought Dusk Hunter was a male, which he is! I’m not throwing away gender diversity for this brand. I mean I found it nice how Hitch Trailblazer was in the main cast in G5. I’m even planning a non-binary pony! I mean, Lauren Faust herself said there’s a trans pony in G4.
There will still be other creatures like griffons and yaks in G4, but G5 never shows where they were except the dragons. So how about we say those creatures have their own forms of land too.
For the villains, they will mostly be original, but for G4, Maybe someone accidentally releases the legion of doom and all hell breaks loose in the second season. For Grogar, I’ve got some big plans for him. We’ll talk about him later.
STYLE
Like other concepts, we’re going back to 2D animation in the style of the Rainbow Roadtrip special no one watched or the 2017 Movie or Minty Root’s animation style with 2D Backdrops. A New Generation’s animation was absolutely gorgeous despite a few hiccups, but when MYM started, it immediately became terrible. I don’t even know what they were thinking. For the ponies themselves, they can look as close to G4 as possible with some G5 stylizations, and most importantly, NO BEANMOUTHS.
SETTING
Generation 6 takes place many moons after G5 and G4. Locations like Maretime Bay, Zephyr Heights and Bridlewood still exist, but they’re even more modernized. Maretime Bay has become a beach city on a mountain with some tall buildings, Zephyr Heights is a Tokyo styled city, and Bridlewood is similar to Forest City in North Carolina but with a bunch of trees covering the sky. For technology, social media (unfortunately) still exists, but don’t worry! It will be kept to a bare minimum so you won’t see Starsong browsing TikTok and Instagram watching AI cover content farms and all that garbage.
THE REAL GROGAR’S STORY
What if i told you that he was the one responsible for causing all Ponykinds to hate each other back in G5? Yes, that’s right. He returns 3 years after the last problem to take back Equestria. Twilight on the other hand/hoof tried her hardest to stop him. finally, she had no choice. She had to seal the magic from everyone in Equestria like stated in the comics. But unfortunately, it only removes the magic from the Ponies, therefore Twilight was defeated by Grogar and disappeared in some way. Afterwards, all of the Creatures (except for the Ponies) were forced to leave Equestria and find their own land, like stated earlier. Nothing much happened afterwards. Then, Grogar started lying about Racist remarks being told to each of the Earth, Pegasi, and Unicorn Ponies. It continued and got so bad that they started a war against each other despite it being told as a lie in G5. After it was over, the three Ponykinds left and abandoned Ponyville and moved to the three Pony cities the G4 Mane Six created. The Earth moved to Maretime bay, the Pegasi moved to Zephyr Heights, and the Unicorns moved to Bridlewood. Grogar meanwhile disappeared without a trace. Over the years, Each Ponykind started fearing each other, and Equestria was left without a central leader. Eventually, An Earth Pony named Sunny Starscout Undid the damage Grogar had done and they became friends with each other again. But then, some moons after the TYT revival end, Grogar hears about the news and uses his Bell to make them hate each other again. He couldn’t do much though, and all he did was make the 3 Ponykinds be racist to each other, similar to life before the 1963 MLKJ speech. All of Equestria starts making buildings for one of each Ponykind only. 10% of Equestria thought it was uneccesary, but that number drained slowly, and eventually, it was down to 6 of them, and they will get to the bottom of this once and for all. In fact, this will Be the 3 Part Episode Premiere of the series where they discover each other during each part and try to end pony racism and eventually have an epic battle against Grogar at the end. Speaking of episodes…
EPISODES
The running time will be 20 - 22 minutes Like FIM and MYM. They will have season 1 - 5 SpongeBob or season 1 - 2 FIM writing in them, especially the slice of life episodes. For every fight scene, the mane six get powerful hologramic wings or horns from something that they learned from a complicated spell Twilight Sparkle created or maybe Flurry Heart.
MUSIC
Firstly, the theme song will be an epic heavy metal remix of the MLP Theme like Andrew W.K’s Ready to Die. (It won’t have screwed up lyrics obviously.) For the musicals, we can reduce the amount of them because I’m not a fan of them. I know MLP has had musicals since the midnight castle special, but sorry, i don’t like musicals. Lastly, every fight scene will have extreme smash bros. styled boss music or heavy metal.
WHERE TO WATCH IT
It will still be on Netflix, But G5 decided that it will be the only place where you will ever watch it on for some stupid reason, so for G6, (and G5 as well, DON’T FORGET G5 HASBRO) we’re gonna put it on Discovery Family and Paramount Plus. (And Blazerlight TV if Blazerlight was a real company)
POTENTIAL EQUESTRIA GIRLS SPIN-OFF
If this Generation becomes successful, Equestria Girls might be bought back from obscurity like G5 was Originally planning on doing before it was cancelled. I haven’t decided what it will be yet, but I did have the idea of the humane six being 18 year old 11th Graders so that you horny people don’t beat it to animated underage teenagers. Oh, and the spin-off series if it ever gets one will be Anime styled. …HA!!! HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT, WEEABOOS?????
VIDEO GAMES
G5 had console games, but not G4? You aren’t gonna forget any further, Hasbro. I have ideas for them in chronological order. First, a G4 RPG where you can play as the Mane 6 as well as a lot of fan favorites. (Yes, I know it wasn’t G6 related. We’ll transition back to it in a few seconds.) Next, a G1 - G6 crossover Fighting Game similar to Smash Bros. Ultimate or Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. Finally, A G6 Platformer/RPG where you can play as the Mane Six. Oh, and make sure none of them are developed by Outright Games. their games are usually terrible, like this tumor called “My Friend Peppa Pig.”
CONCLUSION
Welp, we’ve did it. Overall, My idea for The 6th Generation of My Little Pony will not only be successful, but will stand out alongside G4. We found a way to get it to appeal to boys officially, We made the animation not worse than Filly Funtasia, Made social media not forced down our throats with the acception of modern technology, We gave a proper reason why the G5 movie’s plot questionable by involving the real grogar into it, and made every episode not as dull as Wild Manes is. Hopefully Hasbro takes note of this and restarts progress on their official G6 project or at least makes this apart of G7. No offense, tho this seems like a bit of a rewrite of G5, not a new new gen. Also what’s with the weird working of “male kids”? G4 is already rated G (yet there’s always some dark themes in it), and anyone of any age and gender (or no gender), can watch it.
As for EqG, I’m sorry but I think I accept that that spinoff is never coming back (I’ll be surprised if there’s a reference, tho other then that I don’t think there be another Human 7 spinoff series)
