Since it’s still MerMay, I decided to make a mermaid version of Flare Spark. I recycled the tail from my MLPEQG version of Ariel. I had to figure out the shape of the tail fin, and it looks just about right.

There are two versions of her. The first one has her mermaid tail be the same color as her pony coat. That’s the method I will use for MLP mermaids. For the second version, her tail is blue. The truth is I like that version too. At the last minute, I added a cutie mark fin. I struggled with the shape. Hopefully, the one I ended up with will do.

Flare Spark, the EQGsona of MLPFAN3991, is a mermaid! She enjoys her days swimming beneath the waves, singing with a beautiful voice that could woo the hearts of many, exploring sunken ships, interacting with marine animals of all sorts, riding the tides, and quite possibly possess aquakinetic abilities. Of course, she was turned into a mermaid by some lost Equestrian magic. But she doesn't mind it much. Life under the sea is great!
