Olive has a tendency to get a little too invested in her novels, which usually means she self-inserts so hard she feels incredibly lonely once she snaps out of it and re it’s not real.
This of course doesn’t deter her from reading romance- If anything she continues to chase that fleeting sensation of belonging she gains from losing herself to a good book.
